Types of implant:

Full Mouth Implants

This technique has completely transformed our ability to improve a full mouth of teeth, and we now able to install set teeth the same day that the implants are placed. This is a huge advantage to patients, and significantly reduces the time of the operation, and minimises pain and stress compared to alternative methods.

We begin by planning out the operation, and start with a scan to examine the patient and find the best location to install 4 dental implants. The time of the task has also improved greatly, and patients with very few or no teeth can walk away with a complete mouth implant or short-term bridge in a single day. The non-permanent bridge is then changed with a long term one after 3-4 months.

Multiple Tooth Implants

Multiple teeth implants are being used for patients with several missing teeth missing, which can cause significant issues such as not being able to chew food properly. This may cause real stress in day-today life. Changing these with implants can remove any stress around a moving denture. We are often able to implant a bridge attached to the implants if the missing teeth are around the same area, as the image below demonstrates.

Single Tooth Implants

When only one tooth is missing, an implant is often the best answer. Implants are usually better and longer lasting that other choices, and do not have issues live slipping or impacting speech like dentures frequently have. Additionally, the bone surrounding the implant becomes reinforced by the implant, preventing further resorption and teeth on each side don"t have any additional loading that may cause issues in the future.
What are the benefits of dental implants?

The closest thing to natural, healthy teeth: unlike other solutions, a dental implant feels and will fit just like a natural tooth, and do not lead to bone breakdown, have an impact on smiling or hinder other activities that other solutions do.

A long-term fix: More traditional options such as tooth-supported bridges generally last 5-7 years, and despite having proper care will need to be changed at least every decade. implants on the other hand can last your whole life, with only some alterations over time.

Forget about anxiety: Together with your new implants you no longer need to get worried about feeling down if you want to smile, or that you"ll have issues eating with your dentures. Live your life without stress around your teeth.

Keep your face shape and smile: Unfortunately, missing teeth can impact your face, and can affect how your smile looks. Dental implants help sustain your natural, beautiful face and smile.

Take care of your jaw: The spaces left by missing teeth can lead to further issues, including damage to your jawbone. If it does not possess the support of any teeth, the bone can become damaged and loses its strength. Implants helps encourage bone development and protects your jaw from deterioration.

Take care of you teeth the natural way: Instead of having to keep your teeth in a cup, by having an implant installed you can maintain your mouth health the way you are being used to. You may clean, floss and wash your teeth and not worry that your dentures may slip or fallout.

No problems speaking: dentures may take some getting used to, and could affect the way you speak as well as your capacity to pronounce words. As the implant directly replaces your teeth, this is something you don"t have to worry about.

Eat without concern: Dental implants are naturally strong and durable, letting you eat your favourite foods without stress!

No cavities: An implant cannot get cavities, meaning so long as you clean it and get regular checkups you won"t have any problems.

No movement: when you speak or eat, you might find that dentures move, and have to be moved back in to the right put in place in your mouth. As your implant is set, you can be assured about your tooth not moving when you go about your entire day.

A reliable solution: Dental implants are regarded as one of the very most reliable and predictable solutions when replacing missing teeth.
