Dental Hygiene and Plaque Control
Our experienced team of dental hygienists and therapists remove plaque and calculus deposits allowing the gums to return to an non-inflamed healthy state and re-attach to the teeth.
Dentures
Full and partial dentures can incorporate personal characteristics present in natural teeth. Dentures should stay in place to give you complete confidence. Patients who have been without their natural teeth may have experienced bone shrinkage which means keeping dentures stable can be very difficult. In these cases dental implants may be a better alternative.
Root Canal Therapy - Endodontics
Following the removal of infected tissue from inside the tooth the root canals and pulp chamber are cleaned, sterilised, dried and filled with a non-reactive material and finally sealed. A restoration such as a filling or crown is then placed to restore the top of the tooth. Frequently root canal therapy takes one visit to the surgery but sometimes two and very rarely more than two visits.
