Home tooth whitening is the least expensive
route for whitening your teeth. First you need
to see the dentist to check that you are an
appropriate case for whitening procedures...
not all patients are.

Crowns, veneers and existing tooth coloured fillings
will not whiten. The dentist will carefully take
impressions of your teeth and make custom
whitening trays that fit your teeth perfectly.

These are used in combination with the whitening
gel at home. The dentist will supply you with
an appropriate strength of whitening gel.

The dentist will then do a shade check before
treatment starts and once again on completion
of treatment. You will be given a full set
of instructions before you leave the clinic.

You should expect to see a visible change in brightness in your teeth of at least two shades. The dentist will show you what is a reasonable expectation before you decide to proceed with treatment.
